How I can help you
I am an English and Finnish speaking HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist and BACP registered Psychological Counsellor and Therapist. As an independent practitioner I offer individually tailored, evidence-based, integrative psychological counselling support. If you are experiencing difficulties, don’t hesitate — get in touch for an initial conversation.
Psychological counselling can help you to relate to your challenges and distress in a more helpful way, create flexibility and shifts in perspectives and patterns, movement and new energy that did not previously feel present or possible.
The core conditions of acceptance, warmth, respect and honesty are considered as the essential components in successful therapy. I seek to offer a safe, confidential and a non-judgmental environment so that you can use the therapeutic space to explore and make sense about your challenges.
I work with adults 18+ years.
I offer a free 15-20 min. call / Zoom meeting to answer your questions and help you to decide whether you wish to go ahead and book a session with me.
FEES
170 CHF / 50 min. session. Private payers only.
Concessionary rates: 120 CHF unemployed / 100 CHF students (18+ yrs).

Perhaps you have questions about life that are spiritual or existential in nature or you may like to engage in general explorative work to increase your self-awareness. There is no right or wrong topic to bring and my role is to help you to explore further.
REFLECTIVE PRACTICE GROUP FACILITATION FOR ORGANISATIONS
“Maybe reflective practice offers us a way to make sense of the uncertainty in our workplaces and the courage to work competently and ethically at the edge of order and chaos…. “ (Ghaye, 2000)
“Reflecting on performance and action on reflection is a professional imperative” (McKay, 2008).
My services also cover facilitating reflective practice groups either on-line or in-person for medical and healthcare professionals.

IMPROVE YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE AND BENEFIT FROM PsychologicAl SUPPORT IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS:
Living with A Chronic Health condition
Living with a diagnosed physical health condition, e.g., cancer, HIV, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, MS, any other autoimmune condition or with unexplained medical symptoms can cause all kinds of challenges in one’s daily life and relationships. The affective experience and personal meanings of an illness can be very different for two people with the same diagnosis. How one interprets, experiences, and gives meaning to one’s physical distress is just as important to health and healing as medical interventions. Taking space and time in a counselling space to develop a new kind of relationship to your health and conditions, can help to live well with symptoms, and the often experienced, difficulty with uncertainty. Living a healthy and a fulfilling life does not require an absence of an illness. I am here to support you.
Supporting Medical Doctors and Healthcare Professionals
Medical doctors have the highest levels of burnout, depression and suicidal behaviour of all professionals, and also can present symptoms from post-traumatic stress reaction, depression and anxiety. Seeking help and taking time for support tends to be difficult in the medical community due to the often experienced feelings of embarrassment and shame of needing help. The socialisation in the profession and the unwritten rules that one can’t get unwell starts very early in the career and even before medical school. Learning skills and strategies to support your wellbeing and to cope better with the emotional labour are necessary to have a healthy, fulfilling career. Counselling space offers a confidential and reflective space to take time to expand your identity from ‘the medical self’ for better adaptability and flexibility to be able to navigate between your professional and personal lives. You don’t need to cope alone.
CEOs, Senior Executives and Leaders experiencing work related stress
Mental health has profound implications for workplace performance and workplace stress has profound implications for your mental health. Senior Executives are under constant pressure, overworked, and can often feel lonely and experience symptoms of depression and anxiety. Personal life events, trauma, geopolitical unrest, and coping with uncertainty can bring anyone feeling like as if they have “hit the wall”. Being bored, tired and exhausted can also be symptoms that something needs to change. Although having achieved the positions where you have proven resilience and capability, it is important to take time and space to safely address your current challenges to continue staying fit and cope with the pressures as a human being. Counselling space offers a confidential and supportive environment to address your personal and professional challenges. By developing your self-awareness you can increase your psychological flexibility that is a fundamental aspect of health.
